Indigent senior citizens of Hermosa receive social pension

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Office (DSWDO) Region III in cooperation with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) distributed the quarterly social pension for indigent senior citizens, yesterday, September 5 in Barangay Cataning, Hermosa.

Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton who led the distribution commended the efforts of each and everyone especially the offices of DSWD and MSWDO. According to Mayor Inton, every barangay identifies indigent senior citizens who have to comply with minimum requirements to be submitted to the MSWDO. A total of 672 beneficiaries have been enjoying this program in the Municipality of Hermosa.

Aside from the social pension for inidigent senior citizens, Mayor Inton also mentioned that their municipality will be implementing the universal health care program to further make their lives convenient and stress free.
