“We’re doing our best to incorporate all of our programs and services to the ‘new normal’ due to the threat of COVID-19,” said Iskolar ng Bataan Coordinator Ramon Canas as they officially started to accommodate and process applications for Iskolar ng Bataan online last July 15 up to August 15.
The purpose of the said online application is to ensure the safety of the students by avoiding mass gatherings which is one of the factors in the spread of COVID-19.
According to Mr. Canas, they can accommodate a total of 300 applicants per day, from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Online registrations will be scheduled based on the alphabetical order of their surnames. After filling out the application form online, the student shall print his application form and submit it on the scheduled date provided by the Iskolar ng Bataan, together with the necessary documents.
Aside from the online application, they are also eyeing to distribute cash refund to the students through online banking and to partner with the different schools in Bataan for their validation. The Iskolar ng Bataan assures the students that they will continue to provide services and programs even in the midst of this pandemic.
