JEAGMHS slays 2018 Bataan history quiz

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Municipality of Orion’s Justice Emilio Angeles Gancayco Memorial High School delegates proved their worth as Grade 7 students Via Alexa S. San Jose and Kristine Jane T. Gueco completed their school’s winning streak in Tagisan Diwang Bataan Paligsahang Pangkasaysayan History Quiz held at the Bataan People’s Center on Thursday.

The day before this, two Senior High School students from JEAGMHS bagged the first and third spot in a separate individual quiz held at the Tourism Center, having only a three-point deficit.

Because of this, the said school was expected already to reach the top for the Junior High School category, and did not fail the expectators by taking home the title with the help of their trainer Anna Rica D. Perey.

Meanwhile, Grade 5 students Hanna Sophia G. Reyes and Mar Angel M. Quizon from Tapulao Elementary School topped in the elementary category.

This history quiz is part of the annual commemoration of Araw ng Kagitingan which aims to impart the rich culture and history of Bataan to the youth
