KANTArriba Letran goes U-POP

ABUCAY, Bataan – KANTArriba, the song and video festival of Arriba Campus Radio 87.9 FM of Letran Bataan, has been an avenue for students to come up with original songs and videos.

This year’s theme is U-POP, which aims to reflect and appeal to the sensibilities of students, whether it be love, life, or musings on the experiences in campus. Indeed, this festival is a one-of-a-kind event that is sure to be Bataan’s pride.

“When you look up what a college radio should do, it should aim to promote local talents.” Gabriel Guevarra, director of the school’s Office of Alumni and Public Affairs said. “And what better way to do this than coming up with this multi-media event which highlights songwriting, singing, and music video production.”

The songs are performed and produced by homegrown talents such as spoken word personality Maimai Cantillano; artists who joined competitions in national TV such as Daniel Ombao, Mikaela Puzon, and Maevel Tanchiatco; among others.
