National agencies provincial offices, government financial institutions, and capitol offices will locate at The Bunker (Bataan Government and Business Hub) situated at capitol compound, Balanga City.
He disclosed while a new PENRO building is being constructed in a lot given by the governor at 1Bataan Command Center in Orani, he is planning to locate their Manila Bay Rehabilitation Project at The Bunker where he could hold office at least once a week.
The one-stop shop concept is seen by provincial leaders as a crucial step towards sustaining the province’s economic growth by attracting more investments. The center will cater to the needs of the general public, overseas Filipino workers, and businesses.
“There will be good collaboration, teamwork and efficiency between national and local government offices”, said the governor during the inauguration of The Bunker last month.
Touted the first in the country, the building is the result of the Public-Private Partnership. Not a single centavo from provincial government coffers was spent during the construction of the majestic structure.
