Manila Bay Bridge, a step closer to reality

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – As the CSCEC Strait Construction and Development Co, Ltd. shows their commitment to the Manila Bay Bridge project, they have sent a team to visit Bataan with the intent to make this project a reality.

Gov. Abet Garcia, Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, some PGB department heads, representatives of CSCEC Strait Construction and Development Co, Ltd. and other concerned sectors were present in the meeting today to further talk about the proposed project.

Engr. Butch Baluyot (Provincial Planning and Development Officer) gave a presentation about the Manila Bay Bridge project – which aims to connect fast growing economies of Regions I, II, III, CAR, NCR, IV-A, and V. The bridge, which is the “missing link” in the network of existing and integrated roads on the north and south of Metro Manila, will facilitate the efficient movement of people, goods, and services.

“This trip is important because we’re gonna be working on a very valuable project that may greatly contribute to the development of the ‘one belt, one road’”, Gov. Abet explained.

After the meeting, the team will go to Camaya Coast and the Oriental Hotel to meet Mariveles Mayor Ace Jello Concepcion and AFAB Chairman Emmanuel Pineda to further discuss the said project.
