MARIVELES, Bataan – Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, a native of this premiere municipality, has recently taken what he considers as another great step in his career by being a scholar of Haggai Institute’s Advanced Leadership Training in Maui, Hawaii.

Haggai Institute is the premier international Evangelism school for world Christian leaders, aiming to teach the values of Jesus Christ through evangelism and humanitarian efforts. Only established leaders in their own fields are qualified to apply for the 25-day, all-expense paid leadership training.

After a rigorous screening process of more than 8000 applications, Pocholo was chosen to be one of the 60 delegates – and one of the youngest – from all over the world to attend the training.

He is the son of Luis Gonzales, the municipal administrator of this town.

Gonzales is reportedly the country’s most celebrated voice artist, veteran radio broadcaster, internationally-awarded youth advocate, author, highly sought-after motivational speaker and trainer. For the past 20 years, his voice has been used countless times not only for entertaining people, but more importantly for inspiring, motivating and empowering particularly the Filipino youth.

“The training in Haggai Institute opened my eyes and heart to bigger and better possibilities for the Philippines. I realized that I have been on the right track all along in making other people better and happy. But beyond that, I learned to put God in the center of all my endeavors. I want to see the Philippines with God-centered, great and excellent Filipino youth, making their mark in broadcast media, training and motivational speaking,” Gonzales told

The VoiceMaster also added: “I will do my part in evangelizing the good news by sharing my skills and talents, principles and experiences through the instrument I know all too well – the voice. Through my advocacies and founded organizations – Philippine Center for Voice Acting, CreatiVoices Productions, Voice of the Youth Network, and Voice Care Philippines, I will do my part in teaching my fellowmen how to live as divine sparks of God.”

His mantra: with a pure heart, I will use my talent and skills to make my fellow Filipino become better and happy by sharing the good news.

Gonzales is also considered as one of the country’s most sought-after motivational speaker. He is an expert in topics about the voice, communication, personal branding, inspiration and empowerment.

He is also the founder of Voice of the Youth Radio in Bataan which airs once a week over Myfm Bataan 100.7 MHZ.
