Mariveles to regulate sell and use of firecrackers

MARIVELES, Bataan – The municipality of Mariveles will regulate selling, distribution, and use of firecrackers for the safety of its residents.

Councilor Tito Catipon said they already conducted on Monday the first Sangguniang Bayan public hearing attended by barangay captains and kagawad for the passing of an ordinance.

“The village officials recognize the need to regulate firecrackers. They are supporting it”, the councilor said.

“I think there will be smooth passage of the ordinance from what I observed among village officials in last Monday’s public hearing”, he added.

“We need to adopt this ordinance for the safety of our constituents”, he concluded.
