Morong, Bataan Mayor Cynthia Estanislao profusely expressed her gratitude last Friday to Department of Agriculture Sec. William Dar who promised to build farm-to-market road in Sitio (sub-village) Kanawan in Barangay Binaritan, Morong.
Dar, together with regional directors and technical men of agriculture and fisheries, trooped to Sitio Kanawan upon the invitation of a non-government organization caring for the Indigenous People to see what assistance the national government can provide to local residents.
Dar said the primary need of the residents is farm-to-market road so the local farmers can transport with ease farm produce to the market. He said the Kanawan folks should receive priority attention fom the DA regional office.
“Maraming programa ang ating pamahalaan na dapat pakinabangan ng mga kababayan natin ditto sa Morong,” Dar said.
