ORANI, Bataan – In celebration of its 45th year in service, the Orani District Hospital (ODH) headed by Dr. Hector Santos conducted a month-long celebration which concluded today, August 31, 2017, with the relaunching and blessing of the ODH and fiesta anniversary celebration.

The month-long celebration also included outreach programs, enhanced check-up for expectant mothers, blood donation drive, financial wellness seminar, fun run, feeding program, and motorcade.

In conclusion of its 45th year celebration, the ODH held its relaunching and blessing which was attended by Dr. Hector Santos, Mayor Bondjong Pascual Jr., Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Congresswoman Geraldine Roman, Dr. Glory Baltazar, Orani Councilor Maya Bongco (Chairperson, SB Committee on Health), and Dr. Rosalie Manubay who all gave short messages about the event.

Also present was Engr. Ricky Herrera (Head, Provincial Assessor’s Office), Engr. Butch Baluyot (Head, Provincial Planning and Development Office), and employees that make up the ODH.

With the theme “moving healthcare forward towards better health for all”, Doc Hec stays true to his words that they will do their best to change the image of a government hospital into something better. In his message, he mentioned the improvements of the ODH in the past years that while the hospital continues to level up, the equipment and services continue to level up as well.

He also shared that the ODH doesn’t just focus on their patients, but on their employees too. That is why they have programs that address the physical, emotional, and even financial needs of their employees.

At ODH, they believe that “employees come first”, because if they take good care of their employees, surely their employees will take good care of their patients.
