By The National Food Authority continues its intensive palay procurement for the main crop harvest that started last September until November of this year. In this regard, the procurement team encourages the local farmers to continue selling their produce to the agency for a higher price.
As palay farm gate price continues to drop, national food authority released a new buying price for palay on September 11, 2019. NFA now offers P19.00/kg of palay. As of this date, NFA Bataan has procured a total of 12,848 bags of palay at P19.00/kg price from different parts of Bataan. Cumulative total of palay procured from January 2019 up to present is 89,819 bags.
