ORION, Bataan – Good news to Orion folks who are concerned with their basic health issues.
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) is going to put a health center in Barangay Sto. Domingo to cater to the health needs of residents there and adjoining villages.
Acting Mayor Virgilio Isidro said the NGCP had offered to build a health center with not a single cent spent by the municipal government of Orion. The health center will provide birthing facility, basic medical equipment, and instruments needed for its daily operation.
Isidro said residents in neighboring barangays of Bilolo, Sabatan, and other nearby villages will benefit from the services of proposed health center. “Even residents from the nearby barangay of Pilar town may also avail of health care services of the center,” said Isidro.
“Such services are the NGCP’s commitment to uplift and improve the lives of its partner host community,” Isidro added.
