BALANGA CITY, Bataan – An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) has portrayed the expanding business perspectives as significant features of the province toward unprecedented economic feat with the outpouring investments of multinational corporations in Mariveles and Limay towns, the two emerging industrial sites in Central Luzon.
Nestor Caragay of Barangay Capitangan, Abucay town, has noted that the newest development measures have boosted the desire of OFW’s to contribute to the growth of the locality through investing in housing projects, small and medium enterprises and other equally-profitable partnership and corporate entities .
Citing the highly-regarded progressive investment plans of Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia, Caragay explained that OFW’s are focused on the highly-competitive and dynamic retail environments which are more secured and lucrative business ventures for their hard-earned savings.
The pleasing growth of manufacturing industries and commercial and retail business enterprises in the eco-industrial zones in Mariveles, Limay,Hermosa, Morong and Pilar towns pave the way for OFW’s to undertake a critical analysis of viable business opportunities for them to participate in the province.
According to Caragay, foreign and local investors have manifested their trust and confidence to the leadership of Governor Garcia in providing concrete and consistent policies on the grant of incentives to locators and developers in the province.
Bataan’s economic and industrial areas have constructive advantages compared to other sites in Central Luzon with its proximity to the country’s capital, availability of adequately–skilled labor force, relatively cheaper wages, fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, sufficient and cheaper power resources, good infrastructure networks and port facilities, relatively peaceful business atmosphere, expanding housing facilities and other amenities.
