ORANI, Bataan – The management and staff of the Orani Water District (OWD) is celebrating their customers’ appreciation month.
“This is just our simple way of expressing thanks to our beloved clients and sharing with them some benefits every hour of everyday from Monday to Friday for 31 days in a lean month of the year in Orani with free-flowing coffee and juice for all,” Benigno Andres, OWD general manager, told 1Bataan.com.
The raffle every hour is worth P300 per prize.
The said long celebration just started this year from August 19 to September 30 and will be conducting this yearly, the general manager added.
OWD staff Am Onate said in the first raffle day (August 19) the winners were Adenaida Sibug from Brgy. Kaparangan, 9am Draw; Amparo from Brgy. Pantalan Luma, 10am Draw; Lita Pastera from Brgy. Pantalan Bago, 11am Draw; Ester V. Solis from Brgy. Mulawin, 12pm Draw; German B. Cruz from Brgy. Pantalan Luma, 2pm Draw; Lorna Pascual from Brgy. Parang-Parang, 3pm Draw; Bernadette B. Lintag from Brgy. St. Joseph, 4pm Draw; and Teresita L. Caragay from Masagana Village, 5pm Draw.
Meanwhile, Andres also confirmed they have just planted the target 12,000 ficus nota (tibig) trees in a recent tree planting/reforestation activity in Tala Watershed Area, a part of the Bataan National Park. The actual trees planted were 12,058 thereby completing their target of 50,000 trees planted for the last 5 years.
“We will be submitting our official report to Mr. Ed Kabigting of the DENR on this for their info,” Andres concluded.
