Paguia, new president of PAA Central Luzon

Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training Services Dr. Hermogenes Paguia is the new president of Philippine Association of Agriculturists (PAA) Central Luzon Taramind Chapter.

He got the post in a recent election replacing Pampanga Agricultural State University president Dr. Honorio Soriano. He was formerly business manager of the association.
He said as new president, he will push for the expansion of membership among agricultural workers in the region particularly from LGUs.
Currently, there are about 800 members of the association in Central Luzon.
More trainings will be conducted particularly from SUCs, he said.

He said a PAA cluster will be established in each province of the region.
He cited the National Conference in Environment, Engineering, and Technology (NCFEET) being conducted by BPSU which serves as venue to train agricultural workers.
Paguia was regional agricultural scientist awardee by the Department of Agriculture.
