BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Randomly selected persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) and all personnel of Bataan District Jail underwent drug test on Monday.
“We will undergo three consecutive drug testing over a period, the PDLs and personnel, to be declared drug-free if all tests yielded negative”, said Jail Superintendent Andrew Tauli, Bataan District Jail warden, who himself underwent the test.
All the 60 male and 25 female personnel of both the male and female wards undertook the illegal substance test.
The drug testing inside the district jail is a multi-agency project of BJMP, PDEA, DOH, and DILG.
Bataan PDEA Head Marlou Ordona personally witnessed the activity held at the jail’s covered court.
Tauli also reported that they conducted Operation Greyhound a week ago that again resulted negative in illegal drugs and contrabands like in the past operations.
“Just like in earlier operations, we found no illegal drugs, liquor, and cigarettes during the search”, the jail warden said.
