CAPITOL GROUNDS – After years of gathering, producing, and editing information, the “State of the Coasts” Report of Bataan Province was finally printed out and turned over to Gov. Abet Garcia by the Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA) and the PG-ENRO (Provincial Government – Environment and Natural Resources Office) this morning during the flag raising ceremony.
“Ito po ay sinusukat ang mga impact at mga nangyayari sa implementasyon ng mga policies at iba’t-ibang management interventions para sa ating coastal resource environment,” PG-ENRO head Engr. Vic Ubaldo said.
As explained, the book “State of the Coasts” report shows the current state/situation of our environment especially the coastal environment. Through the efforts of the PG-ENRO Project Management Office – Bataan Integrated Coastal Management Program for data gathering, and the PEMSEA for printing, the actual book is produced.
Through this, everyone can be informed and be of great help in taking care of our coastal resources and our environment in general.
