As the Province embraces the new normal and relentless in its earnest desire to alleviate the living condition of Bataenos, particularly the marginalized sector, the Provincial Government of Bataan recently launched the PGB Social Services Call Center where clients can be informed of the status of their applications for financial assistance, may it be medical, burial and emergency shelter, via phone call.
As clients register and submit the requirements for their application for financial assistance at the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) located at the Bulwagan ng Bayan, Capitol Compound, a staff of PSWDO immediately checks and verifies if said documents are complete and valid; after which said client will be interviewed and assessed. An acknowledgment receipt will then be given to the client.
After 7 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays), the client-applicant can follow up on the status of his application for financial assistance by calling 09190791372 or 09190791359 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday.
This intervention will minimize the need for clients to go out of their houses and lessen unnecessary physical contact with other people.
Governor Abet Garcia said that the government is not stopping in looking for more ways to provide faster and more efficient public service through technological innovations.
