In support of the Tobacco-Free Generation (TFG) Campaign spearheaded by Congressman Joet Garcia, the Municipality of Pilar led by Mayor Charlie Pizarro joined Hataw Bataan Takbo Pilar last October 5, 2019 which started at the Flaming Sword in Pilar.
TFG is an anti-smoking campaign for youths born on and after January 1, 2000 in pledging not to smoke. Students from different schools all over the province were among the 3,737 participants together with numerous government agencies including the Department of Education (DepEd).
Pilar Municipal Health Officer Mary Ellen Enriquez said that the municipality will strengthen its advocacy in promoting and maintaining TFG.
