PNP 1st batch of “Biggest Losers” winners

The 2nd batch of the 45-day Healthy Living and Weight Losing challenge of the PNP was formally launched yesterday at Camp Tolentino with the awarding of the 1st batch winners in the July-Aug challenge.

The ten (10) consolation prizes went to PCpl Edward Gannaban of Mariveles MPS, PSSg Edwin Pado of Orani MPS, PCpl Aiza Gamiao of PHQ finance, Pat Alla Magudadayao of the 2nd PMFC, PCpl Lotes Bascara of PHQ PCADB,
Non-uniformed personnel Armelin Saroca of Bagac MPS, PSSg Wesam Ayad DJ Al-Harake PHQ Finance, PCpl Rico dela Cruz of Samal MPS, PSSg Ramoncito Galura of Orani MPS, PCMS Ernesto Villaviray Jr. of Bataan PPO, received cash prizes of P500, P1,000. and P1,500 respectively and certificates of commendations while the grand rrize winner, PMSG Israel Abad who lost 14 kgs in 45 days received P10,000 and a certificate of commendation.

P/Lt Col Richard Santiago gave the orientation to the 2nd batch of participants regarding the challenge while Dr. Mary Ellen Enriquez, Dr. Ferdinand Valencia and Ms. Ellen Dantay gave healthy tips, promotion of healthy eating/dieting, proper nutrition, proper exercise, drinking a lot of water, sunlight for vit. D, training, fresh air, good rest, eight hours of sleep.
The last part of the program was the check up of all participants, weighing, and registration.
Also present was Ms. Michelle Caraig who relayed the message of 2nd District Congressman Joet Garcia in relation to his health advocacy.
