During the last conference of the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) headed by Gov. Abet Garcia, the group unanimously approved and adopted Resolution 2019- 01 condemning the actions and activities of the Communist Party of the Phil., the New Peoples Army, National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA- NDF) and other affiliates and that their presence is detrimental to peace and development of the province.

The PPOC stressed that the continuous ambushes, harassing of government installations and projects, utilizing disinformation, deception and other forms of propaganda to create resentment against the govt. and belittle state efforts in addressing the needs of the citizenry, that sincere efforts of the govt to reach out and make peace with them have been incessantly spurned and they continue to advocate the use of force to destabilize and topple the govt without regard to the interest of the people.

Notwithstanding the previous declaration of the Province of Bataan as insurgency free, the CPP-NPA-NDF and other front organizations did not stop trying to reestablish and strengthen their position in the province, However, the AFP, PNP and the community through their concerted efforts have checked and averted the advances of the group.
Thru the motion of Engr. Butch Baluyot, the council members unanimously approved and adopted the resolution.
