The participants came from the eighteen (18) barangays of Mariveles, two (2) PWDs from each barangay, who were given inputs as beneficiaries of the project.
At the end of the training, the participants will undergo an assessment test that will be given by TESDA. Once they pass the assessment test, they will be awarded a COC and NCII Certificates.
The project was organized by Ms. Alfreda Tanuecoz, MSWD Head together with Mr. Rey Cuadro, PWD Focal Person, Ms. Rowena Franco, CTEC Mariveles & Dr. Gerald Sebastian, Municipal Health Officer.
Our deepest gratitude to the Local Government of Mariveles for giving high importance to the needs of PWDs, for them to feel that they are well-loved by their families, communities, government leaders, benefactors and other supporters. They simply deserve to be treated like any other functional member of our society.
