CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – In order to strengthen their collaboration, the Department of Health Regional Office III and the Provincial Government of Bataan held a core group meeting yesterday, July 19, 2017, at Crown Royale Hotel, this city.
With the Philippine Health Agenda 2016-2022 “All for Health towards Health for All”, their objectives for the meeting are to present the DOH health system investment for the province of Bataan, and to review and update the Central Luzon health roadmap.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Leonita P. Gorgolon (DOH Regional Director), Hon. Albert Garcia (Provincial Governor), Dr. Lailani Mangulabnan of DOH Region III, Dr. Francisco Hermoso III of DOH Bataan, Dr. Charisse Malbacias and Dr. Luz Ayusa of Zuellig Family Foundation, Mr. John Paule of PhilHealth Bataan, Dr. Roberto Luneta of Bataan General Hospital, Dr. Hector Santos of Orani District Hospital, Dr. Gena Abara of JC Payumo Medical Hospital, Dr. Maritesse Teopengco of Bagac Community and Medicare Hospital, Engr. Alexander Baluyot of Provincial Planning and Development Office, and Mr. Geoffrey Loyola of Management Information Systems Office/Provincial Information Office and G4HD Focal Person.
Topics that were discussed were Philippine Health Agenda, Non-Communicable Disease, Disaster Response and Management for Health, Service Delivery Network, Dangerous Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment Program, and RD’s Roadmap – enrollment to BLFP.
