“Relief goods for Bataan, enough”…..DSWD Reg’l Director Gabuya

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – There are enough supply of relief goods allotted for Bataeños, said Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Regional Director Gemma Gabuya in a meeting with Governor Abet Garcia, PIO Officer-In-Charge Geoff Loyola and PSWDO Officer-In-Charge for relief goods operation Maria Concepcion Garcia held at the Governor’s Office yesterday, Tuesday.
According to Regional Director Gabuya, they have a lot of relief goods packed and ready for distribution. Bataeños should not worry, for relief goods are to be delivered this week and until such time that they recover from the calamity.
To date, relief goods have been distributed in some affected areas of Balanga City.
As of press time, about 8,000 packs of relief goods are on standby and ready for distribution as operation is still on going. PSWDO OIC for relief operations Garcia said that they are also consolidating reports on the number of affected families that need such assistance.
With this assurance of enough supply of relief goods from Regional Director Gabuya herself, rest assured that distribution will continue until the affected residents/families recover from the calamity.
