Strategic plan for Manila Bay clean-up

   Aimed at coming up with a holistic approach in reducing pollution loading into the Manila Bay System from the livestock sector, the workshop is also pursuant to a Supreme Court decision rendered on December 18, 2008 ordering government agencies to take part in the clean-up, rehabilitation and preservation of Manila Bay, a premier international gateway to the country’s political, economic and social centers in their different capacities.

   Moreover, Manila Bay is the catch basin of waters from rivers and tributaries in the National Capital Region as well as Bataan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, Cavite, Laguna and Rizal provinces.

   Engr. Godofredo de Guzman (PG-ENRO), Mr. Danilo Abrera – (OPA-BFAR), Ms.Trinidad Tallorin-(Office of the Provincial Veterinarian), Ms. Karen June A. Balbuena- ( Bataan Integrated Coastal Management Program-Project Management Office), and Mr. Rodolfo Tabing- ( Municipality of Mariveles) are the delegates from Bataan.
