ORANI, Bataan – Plans are now afoot for the construction of a more than 4-kilometer road spanning Curing Bridge in Barangay Tapulao to Roman Highway.
Project plans for the P300 million concrete road project has been finalized by the Department of Public Works and Highways (First Engineeing District) and was shown to former senator Manny Villar during his visit to Orani together with wife Sen. Cynthia Villar last two weekends.
An initial fund worth P20 million had been released by the DPWH for bidding and mobilization purposes, sources disclosed.
Orani Mayor Efren E. Pascual, Jr. said the road project will enhance the economic stability of the municipality and improve the lives of local residents more particularly the farmers.
Orani is being promoted by the local government as a tourism hub in the next two years.
