Role of civil organizations in promoting peace and order and genuine transformation

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – As part of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) P.A.T.R.O.L. (Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and upholding of the Rule of Law) PLAN 2030, the Bataan Provincial Police Office (Bataan PPO) organized the 1st Provincial Advisory Council (PAC) Summit with the theme: “Building strong linkages geared towards the attainment of genuine transformation” last Friday, November 23 at Emiliana Hall, Brgy. Tenejero, this city.
According to Metro Bataan Development Authority GM Charlie Pizarro, who also chairs the advisory council, the PAC was created in furtherance of the institutionalization of the Performance Governance System (PGS).
The council shall only assume an advisory role on the programs, projects, and activities pertaining to or relating to the transformation and development of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030 gathered people from different civil organizations (media, business owners, civilians, etc.) from the different municipalities.
From that, the Municipal Advisory Councils (MACs) were formed that will serve as advisors of the PAC and the Bataan PPO on ways to mobilize additional resources to support and sustain the PNPs present and future plans and programs.
