Say “Yes” to tree growing!

MORONG, Bataan – “We are the ones who destroyed it, now it’s time to restore it,” said Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office – Bataan Director II Edgardo Cruz in his opening remarks for the 118th Anniversary of Philippine Civil Service with the regional theme “Lingkod Bayani: Kilos para sa Kalikasan” held at Brgy. In partnership with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) participants were well informed about the current situation of our environment. “We don’t just say Tree Planting for it is not just planting, it’s also about growing and maintaining,” said Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Officer (PENRO) Bataan Raul Mamac to the participants from the different local government units and private agencies.
PENRO Mamac also emphasized that every seedling planted in that area should have maintenance for the next few years so we can have more eco-friendly environment.
