Sen. Angara supports Cong. Joet’s bill at the senate

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Newly proclaimed Senator Sonny Angara, Chairman of the Local Government Committee in the Senate has committed to defend House Bill No. 08953 in plenary and have it approved. Said House Bill, AN ACT CREATING A BARANGAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LIMAY, PROVINCE OF BATAAN TO BE KNOWN AS BARANGAY ST. FRANCIS II, authored by Congressman Joet Garcia was approved by the House on February 6, 2019, transmitted to the Senate on February 7, 2019 and received by the Senate on the same day.
House Bill No. 08953 states that the incumbent barangay officials of Barangay St. Francis II shall continue to hold office until such time that their successors have been duly elected and qualified. All public infrastructure and facilities for public use existing at the time of the approval of this Act are transferred without cost or compensation to and shall be administered by Barangay St. Francis.
