CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Cuddly children in colorful native Filipino costumes, happily dancing and singing. Such is the festive sight in today’s Provincial Children’s Month Celebration at the Bataan People’s Center in this City.

For over 30 years now, the Bataan Provincial Federation of Day Care Workers has been organizing this celebration, in cooperation with the Provincial Government of Bataan through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office.

With this year’s theme “Bata, Kasama Ka, Ikaw ay Mahalaga, hundreds of children ages 3-4 from the eleven municipalities of Bataan will pit with each other’s talents in drawing, singing, folk dancing and poetry recitation.

Not to be outdone by their tots, the equally talented parents and day care workers also rendered special numbers to the delight of the audience.

Mr. Jose Mari Garcia from the Philippine Information Agency, Ms. Danica Lolita Tigas from the Bataan Tourism Office and Ms. Maria Concepcion Garcia, Officer-in-Charge of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office compose the Panel of Judges.

The following will represent Bataan in the Regional Children’s Congress to be held on October 28 at the SM Pampanga Events Center:
