SSS seeks membership of Mariveles job order employees

MARIVELES, Bataan -The Social Security System (SSS) Mariveles Branch is seeking the membership of the job order (JO) employees of the Municipality of Mariveles.

“We are working to make the JO employees of Mariveles become SSS members”, said SSS Mariveles Branch OIC Manager Jordan Herrera. He disclosed that among the JO employees of LGUs in the province, only those from Mariveles are not yet SSS members.

The SSS Mariveles Branch coordinated with the Municipal Human Resource Management Office to schedule the orientation among JO employees. Jordan said he wants the JO workers of this town to enjoy the benefits of SSS like those of other LGUs in the province. He will seek an appointment with the top officials of the municipality in particular, Mayor Jesse Concepcion.

Recently, the SSS Mariveles Branch and SSS Main Office Member Relations Department jointly conducted the 5^th Employers Day here that helped local employers get immediate answers in many SSS concerns. In the said event, Herrera pointed out that the Employers Day is meant to bridge the distance between SSS and employers for a better working relationship.

“With this activity, we hope to establish better cooperation and coordination with you regarding SSS matters”, he told representatives of employers during the activity.  “We at SSS are open for comments. Help us to be able to further serve you. Tell us what we might still be missing to be able to respond more efficiently to your needs”, he said.

SSS conducts Employers Day nationwide.
