Storm Rivero conquers Clark!

CLARK, Pampanga – Kawasaki-1Bataan superbike racer Joey Storm Rivero, coming out of an injury sustained during his last race, comes back strong at the 4th round of the Philippine Superbike Championships Series at the Clark speedway last August 8 & 9. Rivero clocks his career best lap time on the 1000cc Kawasaki-1Bataan Race Bike ZX10r earning him a spot at pole grid of a 25 rider grid at Pirelli cup and positioned 10 at the nationals.

It was a wet race. Rain falling steadily as superbikes raced around the slippery Clark speedway. Rivero finished strong garnering a podium finish at the Masters class of the Nationals despite the competition and race conditions.

The next leg of the Phil SBK Championships will be held at the Batangas Racing Circuit on the 1st week of September as Rivero aims another score in the master class.
