Tatak Bataan bags national award

Watchlife Workers Multipurpose Cooperative in Mariveles, one of the assisted cooperatives of the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO), bagged the Most Outstanding Primary Cooperative (2nd Place) under the Large Cooperative Category out of the 25,000 cooperatives in the country during the CDA Gawad Parangal 2019 held last October 25 in Manila.

Watchlife Workers Multipurpose Cooperative fulfilled the requirements of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Gawad Parangal 2019 and has effectively established its place in the community as a catalyst of change and cooperative empowerment.

PCEDO Head Azucena Sugatain proudly presented the plaque of recognition together with Vice Cris Garcia, Board Member Popoy Del Rosario, and Board Member Villapando to the members of the said cooperative.

Watchlife Workers Multipurpose Cooperative Chairperson Ofelia Hipolito expressed her gratitude towards the unending support of the Provincial Government of Bataan to their cooperative. Chairperson Hipolito also emphasized that Bataan is rich in resources that is why their goal is to maximize it and reach out to more people in providing livelihood to those in need.
