BAGAC, Bataan – Construction of Bataan Death March marker in Bagac town is now full blast in time for next year’s commemoration of Bataan Day.
Nick Ancheta, municipal administrator, said the Tourism Infrastructure Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) has allotted P1.9 million for the construction of World War II marker near the welcome marker of the said historic municipality.
Ancheta said this important marker is part of the province’s rich history of World War II accounts about the heroic sacrifices of Filipino soldiers.
“We expect to have it completed before Christmas,” said Ancheta.
