Una Bella Hearing Center, officially opens

Governor Albert Garcia together with Mariveles District Hospital (MDH) Chief of Hospital Dr. Hector Santos, Mariveles Mayor Atty. Jocelyn Castaneda, and Ms. Charlene Versoza of Una Bella Hearing Center (UHBC), led the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Blessing of Una Bella Hearing Center, the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) project inside a district hospital last February 20.

Una Bella offers all audiologic services to children and adults alike, and to date, has attended to several patients with various hearing problems. Highlighted in the ceremony is that the UHBC offers free newborn screening to prevent serious cases that may come out when they grow up. Governor Garcia commended all the people behind Mariveles District Hospital for all their hard work and for delivering a quality service to the public aligned with the vision of Bataan.

After the blessing of Una Bella Hearing Center, Governor Garcia together with MDH Chief of Hospital Dr. Hector Santos and Mariveles Mayor Atty. Jocelyn Castaneda conducted an ocular inspection of the facilities and equipment of the 3-storey hospital building and took it as an opportunity to interact with the patients and their relatives.
