Viva San Juan, Tubig Festival

DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – Celebrating the 155th Kuraldal and Tubig Festival, Dinalupiheños from different barangays of Dinalupihan flocked on the long street of Roxas on June 24 to celebrate and dance to the beat as they soak in water. This annual celebration is done ceremoniously by devotees of Apo San Juan.
The scorching heat didn’t stop the people from coming out and cheering “Viva San Juan, Viva Dinalupihan”. The parade began after the mass at St. John the Baptist Church and circulated through 14 barrios of Dinalupihan. The Prayer and blessing was led by Fr. Santi Detablan.
Seven groups of performers from last night’s street dancing competition also joined the parade including the champion, Jose Payumo Memorial High School.
