Municipal Vice Mayor Em Roman is toying with the idea of rerouting of tricycles in Orani to ease traffic congestion during rush hours more particularly at 4pm all the way to 6pm.
Roman said at present there are about 3,000 tricycles ferrying students from schools and employees going home from work place. “I think we in the Sangguniang Bayan should find ways to solve traffic jam in the town proper and within the vicinity of public market,” said the vice mayor.
At present, Roman said, the solution to the traffic problem is rerouting the tricycles to inner streets to control the flow of vehicles in the main arteries.
Orani, a first class municipality in Bataan’s First District, is one of the busiest towns, next to Balanga City and Mariveles industrial town.
“Kaya lang naman masikip sa loob dahil marami rin nakaparada,” said Roman.
