DINALUPIHAN, Bataan-Still reeling from the destructive flash flooding that hit this Northernmost town of Bataan, Gov. BATAAN Capitol- This province is the biggest beneficiary of the government’s Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES) that will benefit a total of 6,134 out of the 18,352 poor but deserving college and vocational students in Central Luzon who will be given an opportunity to work in private companies and local government units (LGUs) this year under the SPES.
This writer learned that the Bataan Provincial Government alone, through Governor Abet S. Garcia will recruit around 2,000 students for summer jobs this year while Balanga City under Mayor Joet S. Garcia is also hiring 2,500 students and Dinalupihan town under Mayor Gila S. Garcia will hire another 500 working students.
