“WALANG problema sa amin yang tungkol sa three-district na yan basta equal lahat,” thus said Bagac town Vice Mayor Ron del Rosario when asked to comment on the issue of additional congressional district for Bataan province.

The youthful presiding officer of the Sangguniang Bayan of Bagac said he is in favor of having a third congressional district for Bataan if the sharing of areas or towns are equal.
Del Rosario was referring to the towns of Morong, Bagac, Limay and Mariveles as preferably that should comprise the third district of the province. As of this writing, there was no clear and definite groupings of the first, second, and the proposed third district.

Bataan Second District Rep. Jose Enrique Garcia III filed House Bill No. 0199 creating a third district to the existing two districts in the province.
Congressman Garcia has said creation of another district for Bataan would mean infrastructure projects, more jobs and “definitely more budget for Bataan.”
