Almost 80 percent of more than 40,000 workers at the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) have been regularized and are now enjoying good jobs at bustling ecozone.

This was bared last weekend by Bataan Gov. Albert S. Garcia who profusely thanked Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III during the latter’s sojourn in Pilar town and Bataan’s The Bunker. The province’s chief executive said it was through the effort of Bello who supported the FAB program to promote the welfare of factory workers.

Engr. Emmanuel D. Pineda, administrator of the Authority of Freeport Area of Bayaan (AFAB) praised Bello to high heavens for his support to FAB workers and employers.
Both the governor and Pineda gave Bello plaques of recognition for the DOLE’s outstanding performance in Bataan and FAB.
