Religious groups hold mass, conduct bible studies inside Bataan jail

BATAAN DISTRICT JAIL– Ten various religious groups hold mass, conduct bible studies and spiritual activities inside the Bataan District Jail.

This was revealed by Supt. Andrew Tauli, provincial jail warden, in his presentation during the recent peace and order council meeting where he emphasized various accomplishments and activities inside the jail.

Tauli said that the holding of said religious programs are being done on scheduled basis to ensure the safety and security of the speakers whom he describes as “service providers.”
Among them are the Roman Catholic, Ang Dating Daan, Inspired by God, Jesus is Lord, Kings Way Mission, Orion Baptist Church, Jehova’s Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventist, Islam and Iglesia Ni Cristo.

Aside from this, Tauli said that they are also providing livelihood programs for the more than 1,300 inmates inside the jail to enable them to earn money while they are undergoing trial.
On education program, Tauli said that they are continuously in coordination with ALS
