PDRRMO conducts 3-day RDANA and PDNA orientation

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – To demonstrate understanding of the concept of Rapid Damage Assessment Needs Analysis (RDANA) and Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA), their background, objectives, processes, and linkages to the Philippine DRRM System, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) conducted a 3-day training from September 20-22, 2017, at Crown Royale Hotel, this City.

Representatives from different departments of the Provincial Government of Bataan, from MDRRMC of different towns, DTI, DOST, BFP, and from other concerned sectors attended the event.

 Day 1 included Module 1 and 2, which is the introduction of RDANA and concept of operation. During the second day, Module 3 (RDANA Mobilization), Module 1 (Disaster Rehabilitation and Recovery in the PDRRMS), Module 2 (Introduction to PDNA), Module 3 (Operational Definition of Terms), Module 4 (The PDNA Framework) were discussed. On the last day, Module 7 (Steps in Conducting PDNA) and graduation ceremony will be held.

 Also present in the event were Ms. Diane Del Rosario, Mr. Mike Piluden, and Mr. Sherwin Rosales who graced in the discussions. Office of the Civil Defense Regional Director Edgardo Ollet also shared a short message.
