Manila Bay Bridge project mulled

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – A large-scale construction enterprise, the CSCEC Strait Construction and Development Co, Ltd.

(CSCDC) based in Fuzhou City, China who offers engineering and construction services mainly focused on house constructions, highways, railways, bridges, hydropower, and municipal public projects recently offered to prepare a preliminary design to form a joint venture with the Provincial Government of Bataan for the construction of the Manila Bay Bridge and the construction of  an International Sea Port in Mariveles.

Yesterday, October 26, Governor Albert S. Garcia, representing the Provincial Government of Bataan and Mr. Jiang Jianduan, representing the CSCDC signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Makati Shangri La.

This MOU between the PGB and CSCDC gives both parties the chance to explore the feasibility of the projects earlier mentioned. Governor Garcia is optimistic that the results of the feasibility studies will favor the realization of the joint venture.
