Tauli pushes for PDLs’ welfare in Bataan District Jail

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The welfare of PDLs or Persons Deprived of Liberty inside Bataan District Jail is a top priority, according to Jail Superintendent Andrew Tauli, Bataan District Jail warden.

“They deserve to be treated well. Someday they will also return to mainstream society”, he said.

There are many programs inside Bataan District Jail for the well-being of PDLs.

“In tie up with BPSU, we are providing them skills training”, Tauli said.

“There are livelihood projects here, and they are earning”, he added.

“We also conduct dental and medical mission for them, and sports fest to promote physical health”, he also said.
Recently, 52 male and 14 female PDLs graduated from ALS program inside the district jail.
