ATI 3 distributes chicken and itik to CL provinces

DINALUPIHAN, Bataan – Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) 3 thru the leadership of Center Director Veronica Concepcion V. Esguerra has distributed chickens and itik to provinces in Central Luzon.
ATI Development Management Officer Armando Lagasca said 3,192 heads of Hubbard chicken were distributed to Bataan, Bulacan, Zambales, Nueva Ecija, and Tarlac while another 3,192 itik Pinas were given to Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, and Aurora. Bataan received 660 chickens.
He said Hubbard chicken is a good egg-laying as well as meat source breed. On the other hand, Itik Pinas is a genetically superior duck breed.
The distribution of chickens and itik is a project of ATI all over the country under the Department of Agriculture.
Earlier, Esguerra said the trainings they provide are geared towards Agriculture Secretary Manny Pinol’s thrust of “affordable and available foods for all Filipinos”.
