Governor Abet Garcia on transport-oriented development

Governor Abet Garcia together with Mayor Francis Garcia attended the launching of E-tricycle public transport and blessing of tricycle terminal at Bataan Capitol Access Road, yesterday October 14.

Also present were Bemac Philippines Business Development Manager Takahiro Yamazaki, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 2nd District DE Ulysses Llado, Provincial General Services Office (PGSO) Officer-in-Charge Jeffrey Calma, Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) Head Engineer Enrico Yuzon, Bataan Highway TODA President Emmanuel Castro and other local government officials.

Governor Garcia stated the future plans of the government in transport-oriented development such as additional comfort rooms, installation of drinking fountains, WiFi, CCTV and solar panels in terminals.

Garcia added that the terminal aims to provide safety, convenience for drivers and commuters, not to mention the environment-friendly innovations through e-tricycles which will lessen carbon emission in the city.
