In his message during the celebration of this year’s National Correctional Consciousness Week anchored on the theme “Serbisyong may Malasakit at Kalidad, Alay sa Piitan at Komunidad” held at Bataan District Jail (BDJ) covered court yesterday, October 21, BDJ Superintendent Andrew Tauli expressed gratitude to the different agencies who provide valuable services to the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs)
During the opening of the week-long celebration, certificates of appreciation were awarded to representatives of skills and livelihood providers, health offices, Bataan Peninsula State University and different religious sectors who, according to Superintendent Tauli, play a vital role in the welfare of PDLs.
Part of the celebration is a seminar/job fair to be conducted by the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Bataan on Wednesday, October 23, regarding job and livelihood opportunities PDLs have once they go back to their respective communities.
