Mariveles Opens Modern Public Library and Learning Hub for All Residents

The Local Government of Mariveles, led by Mayor AJ Concepcion, officially inaugurated the Mariveles Public Library and Learning Hub, a modern facility that aims to provide residents with a comfortable and inclusive space for reading, research, and digital learning. The inauguration was attended by Vice Mayor Jesse Concepcion, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and other local officials who expressed their full support for the project.

Mayor Concepcion described the new library as a “kanlungan ng karunungan” or “haven of knowledge,” emphasizing that it is open to all Mariveleños regardless of age or background. The facility features reading areas, computer and internet access, and various learning resources designed to support students, professionals, and the general public.

The establishment of the learning hub forms part of the Concepcion administration’s continuing efforts to enhance public education and community development under the #MarivelesMunaMarivelesUna and #TatakKuyaAJ programs. Local officials said the project reflects Mariveles’ vision of building a knowledge-driven and empowered community.
