Wider job opportunities for Bataenos

Through the joint efforts of Iskolar ng Bataan (INB) program and the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Bataan, residents of Bataan are gaining wider employment opportunities as the Job Fair 2025 takes place today, November 14, 2025, at the Bataan People’s Center from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

The event aims to bring various job opportunities closer to Bataenos, with a total of 43 recruitment agencies participating and accommodating 1,170 registered applicants, in addition to walk-in jobseekers.

In his message, Gov. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III highlighted Bataan’s continued economic growth, citing the province’s 2024 GDP growth of 9.3%. He also shared major development projects of the Provincial Government, such as the Bataan-Cavite Interlink Bridge and improvements to modern and affordable public transportation, which are expected to boost employment prospects and provide a more convenient and progressive living environment for the people of Bataan.

Also present at the event were Vice Governor Cris Garcia; Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member and Chairman, Committee on Education Harold Espeleta; and representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
