AFAB joins the celebration of National Women’s Month 2026

The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) has expressed its full support in the celebration of National Women’s Month 2026, honoring the invaluable contributions, strong leadership, and unwavering strength of women in the community and across the nation.

In a statement, AFAB reaffirmed its commitment to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and advancing inclusive development for all. The agency cited the vital role of women in the continued growth of the Freeport Area of Bataan, particularly in leadership, business, and public service.

AFAB also said that, much like the Babaylan of ancient times who led with wisdom and courage, modern Filipinas continue to take the lead and drive positive change in society.

The spirit of leadership and community stewardship remains alive in every Filipina who serves and inspires others.
